Now it’s done. We have presented our first products at Helsinki Design Market 2013. Our bags got really good feedback and we are thinking about making some special surprise for Mr.Benno our first customer ever. Our 12 points are going definitely to Switzerland! Last time I promised to open up our shoe development process. We are planning to do simple textile shoes with the touch of the history. Our design is based on smocking pattern named Canadian weave or Lattice smocking. Smocking is old technique for creation of the 3-dimensional surfaces, you can learn more about that from Cathrin Åhlén’s blog or buy pattern from Etsy. Here perfect example of smocking from Susan:
